FSX: converting your.BMP Aircraft Texture Files To.DDS files.

1)You have to use your FSX Deluxe version cd # 1 that has the SDK,
MS's ImageTool utility, which ships as part of the SDK's.

You do have to install it manually.
and it's not part of the base FSX installation.
Once the SDK is installed.
you'll find ImageTool in:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK/SDK/Environment Kit/Terrain SDK folder.

Yes, I'm trying to get my c-47 Dc-3 from 2004 to work in fsx.

I have the MAAM collection, and the windshield are pink and I cant see through them.

I've got a few working, but not sure how or why.

Ok so that worked, THANKS! and it lets me see outside, but It's still blocking view almost from outside to in.

Do I need to rework these with PSP and weaken the opacity?

Also next project is on some of them the Engines are see through no texture.

any tips on that?

and after that, some of these aircraft have more than one texture folder.

Do I need to rename them to texture one at a time on my favorite skin, so they show.

Or can I just copy the aircraft. rename its mane folder, and then adjust the texture folder so in the plane selection screen I see all my skins available?

I've got a Ozark Airlines skin I'm also trying to get to work. I can remember seeing them fly over when I was a kid.
