I think Condor is already dead, the flight engine i dont believe can handle a new version i believe the last version was all that will be released , as for making maps for the condor sim yeah some of the developers have made some major maps and as a map maker i can say the work they have done is amazing , i made IslandHop map and the Condor Club map and i saw many other maps released but then i noticed a change in all that fly in the flight sim.
About the same time the UK map was released and the scandel that followed , i was one of the luck ones that got the cds but never installed them as it was the end of the pleasure when the public lost the trust.
Shame really it was a nice flight sim , i dont believe they will open the source of the game up , or allow 3d modellers to create and export import into the game sims hierachy files.
I did think of a way to make the thermals MOVE and appear and disappear that would give the flight sim a lease of life and would only take a small java input , but the devs would not give the access to work on any improvements , so i moved onto IL2 , and make 3d models for the flight sim and now ive rise of flight im waiting to see if the devs will allow 3d modellers the file stucture to add planes ect :) dout it will happen but ive a Zeppellin nearly ready if they do :)

Interesting info Wolf. It seems all sims end up having some sort of drama associated with them. I guess that is what happens when you have these small niche groups of simmers comprised of sub-groups that want to see things go a certain way, and are passionate about it. . .the same thing that can make the sim great can also lead to its downfall.

In any case, I really enjoy Condor, and I've been wanting to spend a night sailing. . .but RoF has been taking up all my time.
